My first client: White Dog Home in Gainesville, GA. I feel fortunate to have connected with the owner of White Dog Home, Malinda O'Brien, very early on. She took a chance on me and made me part of her team. Coincidentally, we have similar backgrounds, so she could fully appreciate my healthcare administration experience! I've been behind the scenes of her social media since January 2020 and, up until COVID-19 hit, was her Showroom Manager for White Dog Home Midland District design center/home decor/furniture/wedding registry/gift store.
I've been able to cultivate visual merchandising experience by working displays in the store. You can see some of that work when you visit the Instagram and Facebook pages. Some of my favorite displays have been the dishes for our upcoming Wedding Registry, couch arrangements, and the natural soap line that we carry. I love getting to interact with customers and get a snapshot into what clients are looking for. It is definitely starting to turn some wheels in my mind and I'm ready to start following in Malinda's footsteps: Home Staging and Interior Decorating, here I come!

Hopefully within the next couple of months we will begin accepting consignment. Malinda has a knack for "found items" and we are really leaning into that this season. We are in the process of narrowing down exactly what we're looking for and can't wait to reveal the program. We believe that many people are missing out on deals for quality finds, and that's where Malinda will step in! She is also throwing around the idea of upscale clothing consignment (I am certainly a lover of this idea) - would you be interested in something like that coming to the Gainesville area?!
Wedding Registry
White Dog Home has put their hat into the Registry ring! Malinda has asked me to be our Registry Consultant and I an truthfully very excited. We are excited to bring this service to the area because we believe we can truly offer personalized, detailed care that will benefit all brides. My wedding was almost four years ago, but I still remember how confusing and stressful everything can be, so I certainly have a heart for helping brides have the smoothest journey to the aisle as possible. Sometimes you just need people to vent to - we're your girls and we will be there for you.
